What will I receive?
A downloadable project foundation: a reviewed plan, a suitable technical approach, relevant standards, practical build steps and instructions for working with AI. The guidance reflects your project’s needs and complexity, with assumptions and decisions for later clearly noted.
Why use PenguinKit if I already use an AI assistant?
PenguinKit guides you through planning: relevant questions, explanations of important choices, a full plan you approve and an organised set of documents. You can then use your preferred AI assistant to build from that context.
How is this different from a starter template?
A starter template helps you begin implementing a particular approach. PenguinKit helps you work out your requirements and technical direction, then gives you project-specific guidance for the work ahead. You can use a suitable template alongside your project plan.
What kinds of projects can I plan?
Software, scripts, automations and other suitable projects you can build with AI tools or a developer. A small local tool gets a simpler foundation than a shared product. Hosting, databases and other infrastructure are recommended only where they serve the project.
Can I start with a rough idea or an existing brief?
Yes. Write or paste what you have, or attach a text-based PDF or DOCX up to 3 MB after signing in. PenguinKit uses the context you provide and asks about important gaps or conflicting requirements, without making you repeat what is already clear.
Do I need technical experience?
You can describe your project in everyday language. When a meaningful choice comes up, “Help me understand and decide” explains the options and offers a recommendation you can adapt. Building the project still requires a suitable AI tool, developer or specialist.
What is included in the free trial?
Each verified account can complete one project free, including questions, decision help, plan review, document generation and download. It uses a lower-cost AI model, which may miss details or give less accurate or consistent recommendations than Premium. Review all guidance before building. Premium uses a more capable model; all AI output can contain errors.
Will PenguinKit build the project for me?
PenguinKit prepares the foundation and implementation guidance. Your download includes project documents, AI instructions and starting prompts, supplied as Markdown files in a ZIP. You use them with your AI tool or developer to build and test the project; a finished application or configured automation is not included.
Can I revise my plan or update my documents later?
Yes. Before your first download is prepared, you can request up to five revisions of the full plan. Your purchase also includes two updates to your project documents. Your workspace shows the revisions and updates available.

Sign in and open your project to find its available downloads. If you have trouble generating or downloading your documents, contact info@penguinkit.com. Our refund policy explains how delivery problems are handled.
